I received the email three months ago.  A short story I had written had been selected for publishing.

I was in the middle of a faculty meeting when I read the email.  I blurted out things under my breath and stared at my computer screen….I was going to be published.

This is my dream, world.  I dream of holding my novels.  I dream about giving people my writing and maybe finding that I did something well.

So, here it is.  My first published baby.   I hope that you enjoy or find meaning or something.  Thank you to Hunter for taking this piece and helping me find a little meaning in my life.
