What I hate are dumb, preventable mistakes. Like spending almost thirty minutes or more on a query to an agent that I really think would be perfect for me. And then after I send it I realize that I had not changed the salutation.

Damn it!

Of all the stupid mistakes to make. A name. Just one small thing. A friggin’ name. And I liked this agent too. I think we would have been a really good match. And I overlooked the name.

Stupid. Just friggin’ stupid.
